Faber Acid Cleaner | Why Use It

The floor fitters, tilers, the builders or whoever is installing your floor tiles or wall tiles is likely to leave some residue on it. Usually during the process of grouting the tiles, the fitters wait too long and the grout dries on the surface or it does remove the excess but not in full. During the construction process tese issues may not be visible but after the project is completed and the place is deep cleaned, all the residues become very visible and can be impossible to remove. While the grocery shop cleaners might provide some results, the surface will never be residue free. Unless it is deep cleaned with the new Faber Acid Cleaner. Faber Acid Cleaner | Where To Use It

The most important thing is to make sure that your tiles are acid resistant. Otherwise you will resolve an issue and create another one. It can be used on all terracotta tiles, all ceramic tiles, all concrete tiles, some porcelain tiles (unsealed ones), quartz agglomerates and granite. It can also be successfully used to remove all kinds of inorganic dirt that could not be removed with other heavy duty cleaners and to remove mineral efflorescence. It can be successfully used in conjunction with a floor cleaning machine or manually. The product is a strong acid that can really burn the skin and it can cause permanent damage, so hands and eye protection should be worn while handling it. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Faber Acid Cleaner | How To Use It

The main question is not if the new Faber Acid Cleaner works, it works most of the time, the question is if your wall tiles or floor tiles are compatible with an acid cleaner. Most people haven`t got a clue what type of floor they own so the best way of dealing with the issue is to pre-test. The product can be diluted before use but the dilution rate can depend on the type of cleaning required. While dealing with very badly affected tiles, the product should be diluted 1 to 2 (1 part acid and 2 parts water), if the project is bad but not the worst, the dilution can go up to 1 to 5 (1 part product and 5 parts water).

1. Find the worst affected tile and apply a coat of the new Faber Acid Cleaner diluted.

2. Allow it to work for about 2-3 minutes (the product has to break the residue).

3. Scrub the area with a black | green scourer or a good scrubbing brush.

4. Extract the waste and if the desired results are not there, repeat the operation.

5. If a high dilution rate has not worked, use a lower dilution rate for better aggressivity.

***The product can be applied with a spray bottle, a floor scrubber or whatever type of applicator you might have. The product has to be scrubbed and the waste extracted***

You are dealing with a corrosive acid cleaner that can really burn you and damage your property. Only use within the bathroom areas or areas that have tiles. Do not mix up the new Faber Acid Cleaner with any other type of cleaning products. Do not use undiluted. Do not use on wood, plastic, chemically sealed surfaces or painted surfaces.
